Personality:
Mostly a neutral character, he appreciates fighting to uphold family and morals, resulting in a idealistic nature at times. Despite his nature in guarding his family closely he does not mind spending his free time relaxing and thinking, having fun or taking in the pleasures that life offers.

Biography:
Born April 1st 1487, Roland was the youngest of six children, being raised by a father who served in the Rote Funken (Red Sparks) in Cologne, a sovereign state within the Holy Roman Empire with a constant struggle against the Archbishops, because of it’s sovereignty it had it’s own military power. Roland had only a future in military service ahead of him with no chance of inheritance, although that did not bother him. He was concerned with matters at home and spending his time looking after his family and training for his future. Although his life seemed simple, there were family problems, his father was an abusive man, constantly assaulting his mother and siblings until one night, in self defense he killed the man to protect the rest of his family. He then sought out the Church to absolve himself of his sin, also to avoid the noose and spends his service as a Templar.
